About Fairwind V
Fairwind V is one of the last few authentic chinese junk operating in Singapore waters. It was built in 1990 and now serves primarily as a leisure harbour cruise boat for visitors, to experience the charms of the southern islands in Singapore.
Our Fairwind V boat has been installed with amenities for the comfort of our guests, while maintaining the authentic feel of the original Chinese Junk. These include:
- Enough space for buffet spread, bring on board a live band or engage a DJ to spice up your event
- A dance floor for those who likes to dance to the beat
- Bar counter to serve beverages, beer and wine
- Flexible arrangement of dining tables and chairs to cater for your event requirement
- A complete sound system for listening to your favourite music, screen a DVD movie or even sing along with our KTV system
- A upper sun-deck to experience the scenary along the cruise
- Two newly refurbished washrooms
Our boat is staffed by an experienced captain and trained crew. We give particular attention to all safety aspects including
- Regulatory safety equipment like life jackets and fire extingishers
- Well stocked and regularly inspected first-aid kit
- Full insurance coverage on our vessel
Our Fairwind V has a maximum passenger capacity of 144 pax and is currently stationed at Marina South Pier. It has been a popular boat that has been engaged in various activities for
